Rose Gold Classic American Feathers are available in standard hat size, approximately 6", with a sinew wrapped quill for better grip in your hat band.
Shipping is included, unless International.

"You must now take the ashes that were once your life and somehow make them into something resembling some sort of existence.
Can you imagine if someone handed you a bucket of ashes and said “here, make something out of this”?

I wrote this in a blog journal June 6th, 2011. It was almost 11 months after my husband, Tyler, had passed suddenly. I was still in the midst of trying to understand how to make a life without him.
I would eventually come to understand that the ashes of what was gone could nourish new life, that tears grow our roots deeper in understanding, and Hope was the light I needed to embrace in order to live again.
When a rose blooms it is a beautiful expression of preserverance, and rebirth. What the rose bush appears to be in the winter, does not reveal what it will become in the Spring.
There is wisdom that can only come from the enduring the process of growing from the ashes.
The Rose combined with the Gold, represents our Gold Star Wives and Families, and creates the Rose Gold Classic American Feather. It is a symbol of endurance, healing, and choosing to live fully in honor of those we've lost.
When someone asks you about your feather, I hope it will give you the opportunity to encourage others with your story of receiving beauty for ashes. 🥀
